California State Contractor Licensing requires that ALL
qualifying individuals must pass the standard Business, Law and Management
test.
There are two parts to the examination process (Business and
Law Exam and a Trade Exam):
Qualifying individuals must pass the Law and Business test and,
with the exception of the C-61 Limited Specialty Classification,
a second test covering the specific trade or certification area
for which they are applying.

will be testing you on. The practice exams online are compiled
from this information and test you on the same subject matter.
In order to completely understand all of the state exam subjects,
we recommend you obtain the recommended reference manuals along
with the practice exams online. Although an effective learning
tool, do not rely solely on the practice exam to pass a state
exam.
